Gander campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in central Newfoundland, the “Crossroads of the World”. It is a close-knit community with many large city amenities and is a 3.5 hour drive from both St. John's and Corner Brook.


Gander campus has a proud history of serving the training and educational needs of adults in this province. Built in 1963, and expanded and renovated several times, the campus has offered a variety of programs related to the economic and social development needs of our citizens. Our graduates number in the thousands and are major contributors to the economic development of the province and nation. Our students benefit from many on-campus resources including a Student Services Office, Student Development Officer, Guidance Counselor, Library, Cafeteria services, and an active Student Council.


Gander has a population of 10,000 residents. It is a growing community with many amenities including an international airport, the Arts & Culture Centre, community pool, gyms and other recreational facilities, shopping, and close proximity to the famous Gander River and Terra Nova National Park, as well as many other attractions.

Full-time credit course registration is approximately 70 students per semester. Upwards of 300 students participate in Continuing Education evening courses.


This campus also houses the Sedler Community Employment Corporation for Baie Verte, and the Advanced Education and Skills office.


Directions: Upon entering Baie Verte take the first right (next to Barker's Building), go past the convenience store (on left) and take the left turn where the road forks. This road will take you right into the campus parking lot.

Bay St. George campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in Stephenville, a modern and progressive community of approximately 8,000 located on the west coast of the island portion of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is a large campus consisting of four main buildings. The campus has a residence with a capacity of 170 students and features full dining facilities.


Full-time credit course registration is approximately 750 students per semester, with another 100 registered part-time. Upwards of 1,000 students participate in Continuing Education evening courses. Student and career counselling services are provided by three full-time counsellors.


The headquarters for College of the North Atlantic is also located in Stephenville.


Bay St. George Campus offers programs across all academic schools.

Bonavista campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the east coast of Newfoundland in Bonavista Bay. The historic and scenic community is home to approximately 4,000 residents.


Bonavista campus is unique with respect to the provincial education scene, as it is linked with the local high school, Discovery Collegiate. There is a skywalk connecting the two buildings. In the past the Campus and High School shared learning resources and some college courses were offered to high school students.


Currently the campus offers full-time credit programs, Advanced Block Trades training, as well as Contract and Continuing Education courses. Additionally a significant number of students participate in courses offered at the campus, nights and on weekends.

Burin Campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the east coast of Newfoundland on Placentia Bay. The historic town of Burin has approximately 2,500 residents. The Campus houses a gymnasium, cafeteria, learning commons, and a residence. The residence, Donahue House, is located on the College grounds and is connected to the Campus.


Burin campus' goal is to not only produce graduates who are highly competent, knowledgeable, and ultimately successful in their chosen field, but also to produce graduates who have fond, happy, and lasting memories of their educational experience.


The Town of Burin has a number of recreational facilities and amenities. Hiking and walking trails lie within the town, including the Cook's Lookout Trail and the Salt Pond Trail adjacent to Burin Campus. Burin also has a recreational complex known as Central Park including a playground, paved walking track, dog park, beach volleyball, basketball courts and activities for the whole family. Nearby amenities also include the Marystown YMCA, Kaetlyn Osmond Arena, and the Track and Field Complex. Burin Campus is within close proximity to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre and K-12 schools.

Channel-Port aux Basques campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in the Southwest corner of the island, a historically rich community of approximately 4,000 residents. The Town of Channel-Port aux Basques is the Gateway to the Island of Newfoundland and is connected to mainland Canada via the Marine Atlantic Ferry Service.


For over 55 years, Port aux Basques Campus has dedicated itself to providing the highest quality of training and academic upgrading to the residents and businesses of the area.

The Town of Channel-Port aux Basques website will provide you information about the amenities in the area. The Town boasts a fabulous sports centre, Bruce II Sports Centre, which is equipped with a swimming pool, ice arena, bowling alley, fitness centre and curling rink – all under one roof and within walking distance from the campus. We are also home to Grand Bay West Beach - a beautiful, sandy beach that has a trailway winding along the coast and great for walking/running.


For those of you new to the area our weather can be entertaining. The Fall temperatures are pretty mild, but by mid-November you know winter is on the way! Bring warm, winter clothing with you. It does snow here. We guarantee that hats, gloves and winter boots and coats will be very much appreciated in February….perhaps even in November. We get a lot of wind, and some rain, all year long and with no public transportation available, you will indeed want that protection provided by a warm coat and waterproof boots.

College of the North Atlantic, Carbonear campus, is located on the east coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. The current population is approximately 4,800 residents and is located on the Avalon Peninsula, approximately an hour outside of the capital city of St. John’s. Residents of the town have close access to health care facilities, secondary and post-secondary schools, shopping, restaurants, and a Recreational Complex (swimming pool, track, tennis courts). Carbonear experiences mild and wet winters; summers are warm and moist and typically are shorter than other provinces in Canada. Temperatures can reach 30 degree Celsius in the summer and lows of minus 15 degrees in the winter.


The campus is located in the downtown historical district which features restaurants and eateries, grocery shopping, retail outlets, boutique shopping, post-secondary schools, and a public library. The campus is situated alongside Carbonear Pond and is a short walk to beautiful outdoor activities including the George W. Earle Promenade and Nell’s Walking Trail as well as historical structures such as the Railway Station Museum, the Old Post Office Building, and the Rorke Premises.

Labrador West campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in western Labrador, an area that includes the communities of Labrador City, Wabush and Churchill Falls. Western Labrador, which has a population of approximately 9,600 residents, is rich in iron ore and surrounded by pristine wilderness.


The Labrador West campus is a new purpose-built facility that opened in September 2011. The campus enrols about 160 regular students per semester and offers an assortment of academic, trades and business programs, as well as advanced apprenticeship training for various trades. In addition to its regular program offerings, the Labrador West campus delivers customized Contract Training and Continuing Education courses for upwards of 500 participants per year.

Full-time credit course registration is approximately 1,500 students per semester, with another 500 registered part-time. Upwards of 2,500 students participate in Continuing Education evening courses.

Seal Cove campus is located on the southern shore of Conception Bay on the Avalon Peninsula.


The campus has a total full-time student enrollment of 110 as of September 2018. Apprenticeship training accounts for approximately 75 per cent of the total student population with Seal Cove being the largest single site for advanced level trades training in the province. There are 31 full-time faculty, staff and management positions.


All full-time programs are also offered in other areas of the province. Seal Cove is the exclusive location for advanced level training in the Instrumentation and Control Technician, and Powerline Technician programs.

Grand Falls-Windsor campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in central Newfoundland. The campus services two economic zones which are the Exploits Valley with a population of 27,000 residents, and the Coast of Bays with a population of 8,000 residents.


The Grand Falls-Windsor campus has a lot to offer students with diverse educational interests – from one, two and three year diploma and certificate programs to personal interest courses. Our campus is focused on ensuring the learner is at the center of the learning process. Our human and program resources are aimed at helping students reach their personal and educational goals. A key element of this includes 21 credit transfer agreements with universities through Canada and the United States.

Welcome to the Clarenville Campus of the College of the North Atlantic! Clarenville is home to 6000 people in the heart of Eastern Newfoundland. With seven programs Clarenville campus has something for everyone!


If you love to be outside Clarenville is the community for you! With White Hills ski resort, groomed snowmobile/ATV trails and an extensive hiking network in the surrounding areas this is really an all seasons town.


The Town of Clarenville has extensively developed the Elizabeth Swan Park area with walking trails, baceball fields and a splash pad. Clarenville is a community that caters to young and old. Clarenville has great local shopping and resturants as well!

Welcome to the Corner Brook campus of College of the North Atlantic! This campus is located on the west coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, in the City of Corner Brook with a population of approximately 30,000 people. As the third largest campus of CNA, Corner Brook Campus serves approximately 800 students per year, and offers Continuing Education courses to upwards of 1,200 students annually.


Corner Brook, located in the west coast’s Humber Valley region, provides all the usual amenities of a regional centre, while maintaining a small town atmosphere. Corner Brook has multiple grocery and department stores, as well as local malls and recreational facilities. Corner Brook is encompassed in and surrounded by a beautiful natural environment and provides opportunities to partake in outdoor activities in all seasons. The Happy Valley-Goose Bay region is located in central Labrador at the mouth of the Churchill River. It has a proud history, a rich heritage and is home to approximately 8,000 residents.


The Happy Valley-Goose Bay Campus is one of the fastest growing campuses of College of the North Atlantic with a recent $5.5 million dollar campus extension. This extension consists of more than 1,800 square meters, providing additional space for new classrooms, two lecture theatres, a library, increased common areas and offices. The addition is also home to the Labrador Institute of Memorial University.


This campus continues to deliver quality programming designed to meet modern industry’s needs. Full-time credit course registration is approximately 300 students per semester, with another 50 registered part-time. Upwards of 800 students participate in Continuing Education evening courses.


We offer a variety of services to students. They include a Student Development Office, Guidance Office and Aboriginal Supports. As well we provide cafeteria services, singles and family residence, and childcare facilities.

Gander campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in central Newfoundland, the “Crossroads of the World”. It is a close-knit community with many large city amenities and is a 3.5 hour drive from both St. John's and Corner Brook.


Gander campus has a proud history of serving the training and educational needs of adults in this province. Built in 1963, and expanded and renovated several times, the campus has offered a variety of programs related to the economic and social development needs of our citizens. Our graduates number in the thousands and are major contributors to the economic development of the province and nation. Our students benefit from many on-campus resources including a Student Services Office, Student Development Officer, Guidance Counselor, Library, Cafeteria services, and an active Student Council.


Gander has a population of 10,000 residents. It is a growing community with many amenities including an international airport, the Arts & Culture Centre, community pool, gyms and other recreational facilities, shopping, and close proximity to the famous Gander River and Terra Nova National Park, as well as many other attractions.

Baie Verte campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in Central Newfoundland on the Baie Verte Peninsula, and has a population of approximately 1,300 residents.


Full-time credit course registration is approximately 70 students per semester. Upwards of 300 students participate in Continuing Education evening courses.


This campus also houses the Sedler Community Employment Corporation for Baie Verte, and the Advanced Education and Skills office.


Directions: Upon entering Baie Verte take the first right (next to Barker's Building), go past the convenience store (on left) and take the left turn where the road forks. This road will take you right into the campus parking lot.

Bay St. George campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in Stephenville, a modern and progressive community of approximately 8,000 located on the west coast of the island portion of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is a large campus consisting of four main buildings. The campus has a residence with a capacity of 170 students and features full dining facilities.


Full-time credit course registration is approximately 750 students per semester, with another 100 registered part-time. Upwards of 1,000 students participate in Continuing Education evening courses. Student and career counselling services are provided by three full-time counsellors.


The headquarters for College of the North Atlantic is also located in Stephenville.


Bay St. George Campus offers programs across all academic schools.

Bonavista campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the east coast of Newfoundland in Bonavista Bay. The historic and scenic community is home to approximately 4,000 residents.


Bonavista campus is unique with respect to the provincial education scene, as it is linked with the local high school, Discovery Collegiate. There is a skywalk connecting the two buildings. In the past the Campus and High School shared learning resources and some college courses were offered to high school students.


Currently the campus offers full-time credit programs, Advanced Block Trades training, as well as Contract and Continuing Education courses. Additionally a significant number of students participate in courses offered at the campus, nights and on weekends.

Burin Campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the east coast of Newfoundland on Placentia Bay. The historic town of Burin has approximately 2,500 residents. The Campus houses a gymnasium, cafeteria, learning commons, and a residence. The residence, Donahue House, is located on the College grounds and is connected to the Campus.


Burin campus' goal is to not only produce graduates who are highly competent, knowledgeable, and ultimately successful in their chosen field, but also to produce graduates who have fond, happy, and lasting memories of their educational experience.


The Town of Burin has a number of recreational facilities and amenities. Hiking and walking trails lie within the town, including the Cook's Lookout Trail and the Salt Pond Trail adjacent to Burin Campus. Burin also has a recreational complex known as Central Park including a playground, paved walking track, dog park, beach volleyball, basketball courts and activities for the whole family. Nearby amenities also include the Marystown YMCA, Kaetlyn Osmond Arena, and the Track and Field Complex. Burin Campus is within close proximity to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre and K-12 schools.

Channel-Port aux Basques campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in the Southwest corner of the island, a historically rich community of approximately 4,000 residents. The Town of Channel-Port aux Basques is the Gateway to the Island of Newfoundland and is connected to mainland Canada via the Marine Atlantic Ferry Service.


For over 55 years, Port aux Basques Campus has dedicated itself to providing the highest quality of training and academic upgrading to the residents and businesses of the area.

The Town of Channel-Port aux Basques website will provide you information about the amenities in the area. The Town boasts a fabulous sports centre, Bruce II Sports Centre, which is equipped with a swimming pool, ice arena, bowling alley, fitness centre and curling rink – all under one roof and within walking distance from the campus. We are also home to Grand Bay West Beach - a beautiful, sandy beach that has a trailway winding along the coast and great for walking/running.


For those of you new to the area our weather can be entertaining. The Fall temperatures are pretty mild, but by mid-November you know winter is on the way! Bring warm, winter clothing with you. It does snow here. We guarantee that hats, gloves and winter boots and coats will be very much appreciated in February….perhaps even in November. We get a lot of wind, and some rain, all year long and with no public transportation available, you will indeed want that protection provided by a warm coat and waterproof boots.

College of the North Atlantic, Carbonear campus, is located on the east coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. The current population is approximately 4,800 residents and is located on the Avalon Peninsula, approximately an hour outside of the capital city of St. John’s. Residents of the town have close access to health care facilities, secondary and post-secondary schools, shopping, restaurants, and a Recreational Complex (swimming pool, track, tennis courts). Carbonear experiences mild and wet winters; summers are warm and moist and typically are shorter than other provinces in Canada. Temperatures can reach 30 degree Celsius in the summer and lows of minus 15 degrees in the winter.


The campus is located in the downtown historical district which features restaurants and eateries, grocery shopping, retail outlets, boutique shopping, post-secondary schools, and a public library. The campus is situated alongside Carbonear Pond and is a short walk to beautiful outdoor activities including the George W. Earle Promenade and Nell’s Walking Trail as well as historical structures such as the Railway Station Museum, the Old Post Office Building, and the Rorke Premises.

Labrador West campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in western Labrador, an area that includes the communities of Labrador City, Wabush and Churchill Falls. Western Labrador, which has a population of approximately 9,600 residents, is rich in iron ore and surrounded by pristine wilderness.


The Labrador West campus is a new purpose-built facility that opened in September 2011. The campus enrols about 160 regular students per semester and offers an assortment of academic, trades and business programs, as well as advanced apprenticeship training for various trades. In addition to its regular program offerings, the Labrador West campus delivers customized Contract Training and Continuing Education courses for upwards of 500 participants per year.

Prince Philip Drive campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the southeast part of the island in the capital city of St. John’s, the historic and commercial centre of Newfoundland and Labrador. The metropolitan area supports a population of approximately 173,000 residents.


The city is large enough to provide a full range of services, yet small enough to provide a sense of community.


Full-time credit course registration is approximately 1,500 students per semester, with another 500 registered part-time. Upwards of 2,500 students participate in Continuing Education evening courses.


Building Hours and Security
The campus is open from 7 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. seven days a week.


Students are advised to carry College identification at all times, and especially after hours.


The main/front entrance (Prince Philip Drive) is recommended for entry after-hours as secondary doors might be locked.

Ridge Road campus of College of the North Atlantic is located on the southeast part of the island in the city of St. John’s. The historic commercial centre and capital of the province, is the largest city and has a population of approximately 173,000.


The city is large enough to provide a full range of services yet small enough to provide a sense of community.


Full-time credit course registration is approximately 1,000 students per semester, with another 150 registered part-time. Upwards of 150 students participate in Continuing Education evening courses.

Seal Cove campus is located on the southern shore of Conception Bay on the Avalon Peninsula.


The campus has a total full-time student enrollment of 110 as of September 2018. Apprenticeship training accounts for approximately 75 per cent of the total student population with Seal Cove being the largest single site for advanced level trades training in the province. There are 31 full-time faculty, staff and management positions.


All full-time programs are also offered in other areas of the province. Seal Cove is the exclusive location for advanced level training in the Instrumentation and Control Technician, and Powerline Technician programs.

Grand Falls-Windsor campus of College of the North Atlantic is located in central Newfoundland. The campus services two economic zones which are the Exploits Valley with a population of 27,000 residents, and the Coast of Bays with a population of 8,000 residents.


The Grand Falls-Windsor campus has a lot to offer students with diverse educational interests – from one, two and three year diploma and certificate programs to personal interest courses. Our campus is focused on ensuring the learner is at the center of the learning process. Our human and program resources are aimed at helping students reach their personal and educational goals. A key element of this includes 21 credit transfer agreements with universities through Canada and the United States.
There are numerous services and resources available at the Grand Falls-Windsor Campus to enhance student life, including a guidance counselor, a student development officer, an academic resource center, student services office, an extensive library, an active student council, an Enactus chapter, and a full service cafeteria.
